Before the postseason, the Giants were 1-6 against teams that made it to the playoffs, with only a Week 3 win against the Redskins to their name (that was repaid by a 22-10 pasting later in the season). That included bad losses to Packers and Cowboys, and a close one in Week 17 to the Patriots. That makes their run through the postseason just that much more inconceivable.
